
Goodbye To Dry Lips
Am sure everyone is wondering ” Why I made this blog? “.. What is the benefits of it ? How could we prevent lips from getting dry? How can we keep lips moisture and hydrated at all times? What are the ingredients of making lip balm? Actually, the best thing to do to keep lips moisturized is to drink enough water throughout the day, and regularly apply moisturizing products like lip balm or lip oil.
Started learning [ Few crafts ] after having chopped lips one day. Back then, it hurts so much that I couldn’t make a sudden move in my lips. So I’ve d searched online .. What is the best remedies for dry lips?, and the products that could use in daily routine that could comes handy, and easily to reach. And the answered I found was Lip Balm. Read many articles about it, until I become more curious and, interested in actually making it myself.

I made my first homemade lip balm on March 2021. Bought ingredients such as different carrier oil, types of Essential oil ( for scent )beeswax , cocoa butter, [ some uses candililla wax ], vitamin E oil, glycerin, and tools such as measuring cups, measuring spoons, scales, empty lip balm container and double boiler.
There are many carrier oil for skin care like coconut, jojoba, almond, castor, grapes seed oil and many more. And there are many different types of Essentials oil as well, like sweet orange, Eucalyptus, vanilla, lavender, frankincense. tea tree and more.
Ingredients In Making Homemade Lip Balm :
1.) 3 ( 1/4 ) Tbsp grape seed oil 2.) 0.88 oz beeswax 3.) 0.010 oz cocoa butter 4.) 1 drop glycerin 5.) 2 drops vitamin E oil 6.) 1/4 tsp coconut oil 7.) 1/4 tsp jojoba oil 8.) 1 drops any types of Essentials oil ( optional — for scent )
Procedure In Making Homemade Lip Balm
1.) Put water on an empty pot, and boil ( enough to reach the bottom of double boiler ), after water boiled, lower the heat. 2.) put the ingredients on the double boiler, such as beeswax, cocoa butter, [ carrier oil ] grape seed oil .3.) Let the double boiler sit on the boiled water. 4.) cook in 5-10 minutes in a very low heat, keep stirring until ingredients thoroughly melted. 5.) Take it out from stove, add vitamin E oil, glycerin and Essential oil. Stir few time, then transfer to an empty lip balm container as quick as you can. The reason I said ” ASAP ” is because, it would turn hard in minutes. Transfers and stored in 3 lip balm tube. One lip balm tube would also last to used daily and good for 6 months. Stored and keep it in a cool place, away from heat, and direct sunlight. Am sure that if your making your own lip balm or chopsticks, it would save you more in the long run.
