1.) 400 ml hot water ( temperature around 135 degree fahrenheit ) 2.) 2 tbsp washing soda 3.) 1 and 1/2 tbsp unscented liquid castile soap 4.) 1/2 tbsp coconut oil 5.) 1/2 tbsp glycerin 6.) 1/2 tsp sweet orange Essential oil ( or any essential oil prefer– this is for scents. 7.) 1 tbsp store bought liquid dish washing soap 8.) 1/4 citric acid solution 9. ) potassium sorbate solution 10.) 1 tsp foam booster 11.) empty foaming bottle dispenser
Procedure In Making Homemade Liquid Hand Soap
In an empty jar add hot water, and washing soda. Dissolves thoroughly, then add ingredients such as liquid unscented castile soap, coconut oil, glycerin . Mix and followed by additional ingredients like Essential oil, ” if prefers to have scents ” , as I have said — ” this is optional so as the colorant “.. then add any store bought liquid dish washing soap. Stir, cover with plastic wraps, and leave overnight.
Before using citric acid and potassium sorbate , please do study and make some researched about it .The next day, add citric acid solution slowly and stir gently, then followed by potassium sorbate solution and lastly add foam booster.
Mixed, checked the ph. The safe ph is between 8-11 ph, then transfer to a foaming bottle dispenser. This is good for 7-8 months use per person. And would definitely save you much financially in a long run at the same time, you learn, aware of what’s on it and safe for skin.
